When we first launched as Amazonian SkinFood, our name proudly told the story of our roots—clean, conscious skincare inspired by the Amazon Rainforest.
But as our brand began to grow, so did our vision.
We wanted a name that was more minimalist, more memorable, and easier to scale globally—a name that could live comfortably on the shelves next to the most iconic skincare brands in the world.
In fact, a friend of ours once showed our product to a Sephora executive, who said:
“The formulas are incredible. But the name? You need something more brandable—something people will remember and type into Google without hesitation.”
We took that to heart.
AmaSKN was born from that insight—a sleeker version of “Amazonian SkinFood,” one that’s easier to type, easier to recall, and ready for a global audience. Paired with our updated packaging and upgraded formulas, we now have a line that’s not only rooted in purpose—but polished enough to stand proudly next to any premium brand.
This name reflects the brand we’ve become—and the future we’re building.

In the early days of our rebrand, people searching for AmaSKN were sometimes met with, “Did you mean Amazon?”
A quick click could take you to the giant online marketplace instead of to our rainforest-infused skin rituals.
At first, we thought this might be a major hurdle.
But then we realized—it might actually be a hidden strength.
